ACKHI

ACKHI is a predominately African-Diasporic (Black) led community organization, set up to promote the cultural heritage of peoples of African and African Diasporic heritage and decent. The organization was set up in 2003 in response to what was perceived as the piecemeal and fragmented approach to delivering cultural programmes aimed at redressing the imbalance in the negative portrayal of the cultural heritage of Africa and the African Diaspora.
