Ann-Mari Berthelsen

Ann-Mari Berthelsen, RN, QM, M.Ed.

Ann-Mari is a registered nurse graduated in 1990. She holds a master’s degree in Education and Human Resource Development (M.Ed.). She is working as a Quality Manager for the bone marrow transplant (BMT) program at the Hematology dept., University hospital Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark.

For the past 25 years she has worked with children and adults in hematology and setting. Along other relevant issues in the care of the BMT patient, she especially has focus on oral care. She is in charge of developing local SOP´s and guidelines, teaching nurses and guiding patients and relatives to achieve the best oral care of the patient receiving chemo-and irradiation therapy and development of late effects after treatment or Graft versus Host Disease.
