Interest in oral care, where do we come from

• Since the beginning of my work. I work for twenty years at IEO. My first patients were radiotherapy haed and neck pt. They can’t normally eat for side effects and our target was reduce weight loss and percentage of malnutrition

Involvement in activities – what do we do

• Referral dietitian for Radiotherapy Divison at IEO
• I work with Head and neck Surgical Division for nutritional management of patient, pre and post surgery, to reduce malnutrition and to prepare patients for surgery
• I’m an active member of ADI (Italian Dietetic and Clinical Nutrition Association), in particular, group member of – Oncology Project
