Interest in oral care, where do we come from

• Being a cancer nurse for many years in both solid tumours and haematological malignancies
• I was a head and neck cancer nurse for a long time where moderate to severe oral mucositis is a consequence of treatments
• I am passionate about educating cancer nurses especially on systemic anti-cancer treatments, including assessment, prevention and and managing treatment side-effects

Involvement in activities – what do we do

• I am a member of the UK Oncology Nursing Society and the European Oncology Nursing Society
